Dojo Media Co. Terms & Conditions

By engaging Dojo Media Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“client”, “user”, “visitor”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services or website.
1. Services Provided
Dojo Media Co. delivers integrated video production and video marketing services. This includes—but is not limited to—content creation,
editing, strategy, campaign deployment, social media management, email marketing, paid ads management, analytics, creative consulting,
performance reporting, and more as agreed.
2. Project Scope, Process, and Revisions
- Each engagement is governed by a detailed scope and deliverables set out in individual project documentation.
- Marketing projects may include campaign strategy, asset production, copywriting, account and ad management, analytics reporting, and optimisation.
- Clients receive two rounds of revisions (with unlimited changes per round) as standard for all projects. Further rounds or scope changes may be subject to additional charges.
- Specific timelines for client feedback, revisions, and final approvals are agreed per project. Delays in client responses may result in added fees or timeline extensions.
3. Payment Terms and Cancellations
- Standard payment terms: 25% deposit upfront and the remaining balance due upon delivery of final project deliverables. Monthly or milestone payments may be arranged for ongoing engagements.
- All invoices are issued in AUD and may be subject to GST where applicable.
- Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date unless otherwise stated.
- Overdue payments are subject to interest at 1.5% per month (or part thereof) on any outstanding invoice amount until paid in full.
- Rescheduling or cancellation by the client may incur fees as outlined in project documentation, covering lost time, costs, or resources allocated.
- Dojo Media Co. may suspend work, withhold deliverables, or terminate the agreement if invoices are not paid according to the stated terms.
4. Intellectual Property
- Dojo Media Co. retains copyright and ownership of all raw footage and project files; clients receive rights to final deliverables upon full payment.
- Access to raw footage or project files can be arranged for an additional fee.
- Portfolio/marketing use of client projects by Dojo Media Co. is subject to client consent, set out in individual contracts.
5. Client Responsibility & Supplied Assets
- Clients are responsible for providing all assets to be included in their projects (e.g., logos, branding, imagery, etc.).
- Dojo Media Co. offers access to a stock media library; any licensing fees for stock assets or music specifically purchased for a project will be billed to the client.
- By supplying assets, clients warrant that they hold necessary permissions and licences for their use in the project.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
- Dojo Media Co. is committed to safeguarding all client data and confidential information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy laws.
- Client information, project assets, business data, and personal details are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel or service providers for project delivery.

7. Confidentiality & Sensitive Projects
- Dojo Media Co. will sign NDAs and respect confidentiality for sensitive or embargoed projects when requested by the client.
- Confidentiality provisions may be included in project contracts at any time.
8. Content Distribution & Marketing
- Dojo Media Co. does not guarantee specific performance results, reach, or audience numbers for marketing, social, or paid content.
- Ad spend or paid promotion is managed according to the project agreement; the agency may or may not manage ad budgets depending on the project specifics.
9. Insurance & Liability
- Dojo Media Co. is covered for public liability during on-location production. Any unusual or specialised insurance needs will be discussed and arranged as necessary for individual projects.
- Our total liability for any service claim is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant engagement. Indirect or consequential damages are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Third-Party Providers & Subcontractors
- Dojo Media Co. may engage trusted subcontractors and service providers, including for post-production and marketing services. Full responsibility for the quality, timing, and security of deliverables remains with Dojo Media Co.
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate the agreement for material breach with written notice, subject to settling outstanding fees and returning or deleting supplied materials.
- Intellectual property, confidentiality, and liability clauses survive termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, with disputes resolved under Queensland jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
Dojo Media Co. may modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
